Youth stabbed to death by miscreants in Netrokona

A young man named Rabbi Mia (22) was stabbed to death by miscreants in Mohanganj, Netrokona. He was stabbed at around 8 pm on Sunday (March 2) in the railway station pond area of ​​Tengapara area of ​​Mohanganj municipality. Later, he was rescued and brought to Mymensingh Medical College (MMEC) Hospital, where Rabbi died at around 11 pm.

The deceased Rabbi is the son of Anis Mia of Tengapara area of ​​​​the municipality. Anis Mia is a fish trader by profession. Rabbi used to do fish business with his father.

Police and locals said that Rabbi was selling fish at a fish shop in the evening. Around 8 pm, miscreants called him to the pond area of ​​​​the railway station, stabbed him and fled. Meanwhile, after being stabbed, Rabbi jumped into the pond to save his life. Hearing his screams, people around rescued Rabbi and sent him to Mohanganj Health Complex. After completing the initial treatment, the doctor on duty quickly sent Rabbi to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. The doctor on duty there declared him dead at around 11 pm.

Mohanganj Police Station OC Md. Aminul Islam confirmed this information. He said that some evidence has been recovered after inspecting the scene. An operation is underway to arrest the accused in this incident.
