Milestone Preparatory KG School celebrated ‘Rabindra Nazrul Jayanti’ on the occasion of the 164th birth anniversary of world poet Rabindranath Tagore and the 126th birth anniversary of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
The school’s Diabari campus (Bengali medium) students participated in this colorful event held at the Kamaluddin Auditorium of Milestone College’s permanent campus located in Diabari, Uttara on Thursday.
The chief guest at the joyful event of ‘Rabindra Nazrul Jayanti’ was Mrs. Rifat Nabi Alam, Executive Principal of Milestone Preparatory KG School. The special guests were Colonel Nuron Nabi (Retd.), Founder and Advisor of Milestone College, Captain Md. Jahangir Alam Khan (Retd.), Principal of Milestone Preparatory KG School’ Diabari Campus, and Headmistress Mrs. Khadija Akhter.
Along with talks and discussions on the contributions of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam to Bengali literature, the entire event was filled with delightful cultural programs. The lively performances of the young students mesmerized everyone present.
