The film ‘Daymukti’ is based on the story of an old age home. Actor Simon Sadik and actress Susmi Rahman have teamed up in this government-funded film. The film is directed by Badiul Alam Khokon. The film will be released nationwide on February 7, according to its producer Jasim Uddin.
Ekushey Padak-winning actor, director, and playwright Abul Hayat have played two important roles in the film, a family and social story about social responsibility, and another Ekushey Padak-winning actress Dilara Zaman has played the role of his wife. Samia Nahi, Sucharita, Subrata, and others have also played various roles.
Regarding ‘Daymukti’, Abul Hayat said, ‘Although Dilara Bhabhi and I have worked in many dramas, this is the first time we have acted together in a film. I am mainly working in this film because of the interest of the producer and director. I liked the story, I also liked my character. I hope the audience will like the movie.’
Dilara Zaman said, ‘Hayat Bhai has worked in many dramas. We also worked together in a movie through working on the movie Dayamukti. I liked the story very much. Everyone who acted in the movie tried to act well in their respective roles. I am optimistic about Dayamukti. The rest actually depends on the audience’s interest.’
Director Badiul Alam Khokon said, ‘This movie tells a beautiful story about how we should behave towards our birth parents and what our responsibility is towards our parents as children. I hope everyone will like the social story movie.’
In the movie ‘Dayamukti’, popular singer Monir Khan has lent his voice to a song written by Moniruzzaman Monir and composed by Ali Akram Shuvo. The song will be sung by the audience in the lyrics of the living legendary actor Abul Hayat. The movie received a government grant in 2017. Then, filming took place in various locations across the country.
