The program of distributing Eid goods was completed by the social organization “Shsatha Sebay Amara” among 60 unemployed and helpless families of Azimnagar, Lechharaganj, Sutaldi Union in the remote char area of Harirampur Upazila of Manikganj district.
Due to the unbridled rise in commodity prices in the char area, most of the low-income people cannot afford to buy Eid goods. The organization distributed Eid goods to 69 families from a humanitarian perspective.
The organization’s members, Abdul Rahman, Mamun Sikder, Ruben, Md. Shahidul Islam, Md. Nasir Uddin, Sujan, Russell, Layez, Russell, Riday were present at the Eid goods distribution program.
The organization’s workers said that at this time, the organization called on the wealthy people of the society to come forward for this work. The organization informed that it is an attempt to bring smiles to the faces of the underprivileged people through the program.
May the joy of Eid spread among the people. The festival is for everyone. We all have to share our strength in the festival. Eid cannot be turned into a festival for the wealthy by depriving a large section of the society of the joy of Eid.
They also said, we appeal to the wealthy people of the society to stand by the helpless and disadvantaged people and extend a helping hand to them. May the joy of Eid spread throughout the country.
