A schoolgirl named Sumaiya Akhter (1) was beaten to death at Madhabpur in Habiganj. Police initially believe that the killings took place over a dispute with family opponents.
Sumaiya is the daughter of Benu Mia of Aktiapur village of Madhabpur upazila. She was a fourth grade student at a local government primary school.
The body of Sumaiya was sent to the morgue of Habiganj District Sadar Hospital for autopsy on Tuesday (June 5th).
Police said the miscreants left Sumaiya with sharp weapons on Monday (June 5th) on Monday (June 5th). He was taken to Madhabpur Upazila Health Complex and taken to Dhaka in Dhaka. After leaving for Dhaka, he died before reaching Narsingdi. His body was brought to his house at night.
Madhabpur Police Station Inspector Md. Kabir Hossain said preliminary investigation revealed that the family’s family’s opponents were involved in the murder.
