In a recent interview with Anandabazar Patrika, the famous actress talked about relationships, separations, new marriage plans and the decision to stay single.
Regarding marriage, Jaya said, ‘Marriage is like ‘old school’. There are as many relationships as there are people in the world. No relationship is like another. The relationships I have had in my life have shaped me today. My mistakes are also mine, I move forward with them. Not everything can be thrown away.’
She also shared her observations on current relationships. ‘Now no one goes into relationships! Now “situationships” are going on. The thoughts are there, but the relationship is not there,’ said Jaya.
When asked about her loneliness or plans to get into a new relationship, Jaya said, “I don’t plan anything. If I feel the need to go from single to double, then it will happen. For now, I am fine, I am at peace, so I have no plans.”
Earlier, Jaya Ahsan had talked about her separation in an interview with Filmfare. There, she said, “Ups and downs are part of life. That time changes my perspective. I focus on work. Work has comforted me. I have always stayed with work, that is what I like to do.”
It is worth mentioning that Jaya’s film ‘Dear Maa’ is releasing in Kolkata on July 18. The actress is currently staying in Kolkata. She has also started shooting for a new film there.
