Barcelona’s young starlet Lamine Yamal has been spotted on holiday with a flight attendant who is 13 years his senior. Yamal, 17, is currently on holiday after Spain lost to Portugal on penalties in the Nations League final earlier this month.
In his retirement, Yamal has been spending time with 30-year-old Spanish flight attendant and social media influencer Fati Vazquez.
The pair recently posted pictures from the same location in Italy, where they were seen on a boat trip, relaxing by the swimming pool and taking a helicopter ride. This led to speculation that they might be in a relationship.
However, Yamal has rubbished the rumours. Speaking to gossip expert Javi de Voys, he confirmed that there is no relationship between them.
De Voys said, “I spoke to Lamine Yamal and he insisted that there is nothing between them. “There’s nothing going on between us,” he said.
He added that Yamal is not alone, but has gone on holiday with some of his Barca teammates. De Vaios also hinted that Vázquez could be in a relationship with another Barca player or a good friend of theirs.
He said, “Maybe Fati is in a relationship with a Barca player, or he’s a close friend of a teammate.”
However, there has been heated discussion on social media about the large age gap between Yamal and Vázquez. Vázquez responded to the criticism, although he did not directly address his relationship with Yamal.
In a post on Instagram, he wrote, “It’s very sad, some people have such darkness inside that they wish death on someone they don’t even know.”
“How someone presents themselves speaks volumes about them. I have chosen a path of meaningful life, self-improvement and spending time with positive people. I wish well-being to those who wish me well—because a person who is good to themselves never wants to destroy others.’
Incidentally, Vasquez started her career as a flight attendant, but now she has completely focused on social media influencer. She has over a million followers on YouTube and Instagram, where she regularly posts about her fitness routines and healthy eating habits.
