Gulshan Thana BNP Joint Secretary Kamrul Ahsan Sadhan was killed in a random shooting by terrorists in the Gudaraghat area of Madhya Badda in the capital.
The incident took place on Sunday (May 25) night in Gudaraghat No. 4 lane of Madhya Badda. The deceased Kamrul Ahsan is the joint convener of Gulshan Thana BNP.
It is learned that when party leaders and activists and relatives took him to the National Heart Institute in a seriously injured condition, the doctor on duty there declared Kamrul Ahsan Sadhan dead. Upon receiving the news, Gulshan and Badda Thana police rushed to the spot.
It is also known that he was sitting in a tea shop opposite the office of former commissioner Qayyum on Gudaraghat No. 4 Road and was having tea. Sadhan was sitting there with BNP leader Qayyum’s nephew Kamrul and a few others. In the meantime, two people suddenly came and opened fire in random. Both were wearing masks. Sadhan fell on the spot in the shooting. After that, the terrorists fled while firing blank shots. Sadhan was rescued from the scene in a bloody state and brought to the National Heart Institute, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Badda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saiful Islam confirmed the matter and said, “Murderers shot Kamrul Ahsan Sadhan of Madhya Badda at night. We are at the scene. We do not yet know who or what did this. Our force is working to investigate this matter.”
